Is your business utilizing the best marketing strategies and tools available for your particular needs? An extremely knowledgeable cast of marketing gurus came together at New Jersey City University for a MODC seminar that provided attendees with those answers. Leading off was Kathy Rennie, Chair of the Marketing Department and School of Business at NJCU, who discussed how to develop a communication strategy, and the difference between marketing objectives and marketing tactics. Mike Ciavolino, President of Shore Creative Group, followed up with the benefits of a digital marketing plan for certain businesses, and what apps are considered among the best to accomplish your objectives. Direct Mail Marketing is still alive and well, and Bill Duerr, President of Hatteras Press, presented attendees with a wealth of strategic direct mail options that continue to work well in today’s changing customer environment. Wrapping things up from the perspective of radio marketing was Marilee Pettit, Senior Account Manager at Press Communications, who offered 10 good reasons why some businesses and organizations should consider radio for their marketing and advertising needs.
